Sound systems for concert halls, theatres and workplaces
The acoustic quality of a space determines how it is experienced and how well it functions, whether it is a concert hall, a theatre or an open-plan office. Audico has designed and installed sound systems for some of the most demanding venues in the Nordic region, from concert halls and sports arenas to corporate headquarters and public buildings.

Tailored audio solutions for every environment
Sound is fundamental to how any space is experienced and used. Every venue presents a unique set of acoustic challenges determined by its geometry, materials, volume and intended use. A solution that performs in a concert hall will not automatically work in an open-plan office or a sports arena.
Audico Systems is a specialist in audio integration, designing and delivering professional sound systems for a wide range of environments — from meeting rooms to theatres, arenas, and airports.
Our team of 130 AV specialists has delivered sound systems in Finlandia Hall, the Encore auditorium at Jyväskylä Pavilion, the Helsinki Olympic Stadium and hundreds of other venues. Each project has demanded its own acoustic design and technical approach.
Sound system design
Every sound system starts with an acoustic analysis of the space. We model the room geometry, surface materials and intended use to determine how sound will behave, then design the system to distribute audio evenly to every listening position. The design process includes acoustic simulations and both pre- and post-installation measurements to verify that performance meets the specified targets.
Component specification
Selecting the right loudspeakers, DSP processors, microphones and control systems for a specific space requires technical knowledge and access to the full range of options on the market. Audico specifies from the catalogues of the world's leading professional audio manufacturers without being tied to any single brand or supply arrangement, which means the best solution for the space always takes priority.
Acoustic services
Sound system performance depends on the room's acoustic properties, not only on the electronics. Excessive reverberation, flutter echo and poor speech intelligibility require acoustic treatment alongside the system design. Audico conducts room acoustic measurements, models reverberation time and specifies passive treatment materials as an integrated part of the project, so the electronic system and the room work together rather than against each other.
Sound masking
In open-plan offices, healthcare facilities and public reception areas, overheard conversations create distraction and compromise speech privacy. A sound masking system introduces a continuous, spectrally shaped background sound at low level, reducing the intelligibility of nearby speech without being perceived as a distinct or intrusive noise. The result is a space where private conversations remain private and background noise is less disruptive to concentration and work.
Voice lift
In large spaces such as auditoriums, lecture theatres and conference halls, unamplified speech does not reach every listener with consistent intelligibility. A voice lift system detects the speaker's voice and amplifies it by a carefully calibrated margin, ensuring clarity for all listeners without creating the sensation of public address. The system follows the speaker's movement and adjusts automatically, without requiring a fixed microphone stand or manual gain control.
AV integration
Sound systems rarely operate in isolation. In most installations, audio is one component of a broader AV environment that includes display systems, lighting control, room automation and building management interfaces. Audico designs sound systems with the full technical environment in mind, ensuring consistent operation across all systems from a unified control interface.
Lifecycle services
A professional sound system installed to the correct specification will deliver consistent performance for 15 years or longer. Audico's maintenance programmes, remote monitoring and proactive servicing ensure reliable operation throughout the system's life. The same team that delivered the installation retains knowledge of the venue and responds quickly when needed. Individual components can be updated or replaced as technology evolves, without requiring a full system replacement.

What a well-designed sound system makes possible
One space, multiple uses
A sound system designed for flexibility allows the same venue to function as a concert hall, a conference facility and an event space without technical compromise. That versatility directly expands the commercial opportunities available to the operator and reduces the need for dedicated single-purpose spaces.
Audience experience reflects sound quality directly
Uneven coverage, poor intelligibility and insufficient level are among the most frequently cited complaints from audiences at performance venues. Consistent sound quality across every seat improves the audience's experience and builds the venue's reputation as a place worth returning to.
Better acoustics create a better workplace
Open-plan acoustics directly affect concentration, productivity and speech privacy. Sound masking and properly specified audio distribution reduce distraction and create a working environment that supports focus, without requiring structural changes to the space.
