Video solutions and projection

The wrong display technology or a poorly planned system makes a space difficult to use, no matter how much the equipment cost. Audico designs video solutions around how the space is used and built, from concept to commissioning.

Video displays and projection for every space

A video display solution is not a single equipment choice but a complete design: the right technology, brightness and contrast for the room's lighting, the right resolution for the viewing distance, and a clean signal path from source to screen. LCD displays, projectors and LED surfaces each serve different needs, and no single technology fits every space.

The solution is always built around the space and how it is used: the display or projection system, video matrix switching or an AV network, video processing and the control system work together as one whole.

LED display surfaces and content-managed information screens and digital signage are covered on their own pages. This page covers LCD and OLED display solutions, projection and video matrix switching.

Video displays for meeting and conference rooms

The display solution for a meeting or conference room is chosen by room size, lighting and how the space is used. Professional LCD and OLED displays suit short-distance viewing in rooms where lighting cannot be controlled: they hold a sharp image under bright office lighting without extra calibration. Audico builds the display into the room's meeting technology, so the screen, audio and control system work as one.

Projection solutions for auditoriums and lecture halls

In large spaces with a long viewing distance and a screen size beyond what a single display can cover, projection is often the better solution. Audico designs the projection system around the room's acoustics and architecture: projector placement and type, mounting method (a projector lift or ceiling mount) and screen (fixed, motorised or acoustically transparent), together with integration into the control system. A well-executed system stays out of the way in daily use and holds a clear image even in a partially lit room.

Projection solutions for events and conferences

Events and large conferences place different demands on projection than a fixed installation: brightness requirements are high, setup time is short and the system has to perform under changing lighting. Audico delivers event projection at the right brightness level and manages signal routing and redundancy, so a technical fault does not interrupt the event. The same expertise covers indoor events and outdoor use with IP-rated equipment.

Video matrix switching and multi-display control

When a space, or multiple sites, need several displays and sources, a video matrix switch routes the right source to the right screen without dedicated cabling for every connection. A traditional matrix switch can be replaced with an AV-over-IP architecture that runs over the IP network and lets you add displays without recabling. Audico designs a video matrix or AV network-based solution to fit the project, and makes sure latency, bandwidth and security meet requirements.

Video processing and control systems

Video content arriving from different sources needs processing that routes, scales and manages the signals to match the system's requirements. Audico designs the processing setup for each room: the right connection standards (HDMI, HDBaseT, SDI), scaling to the correct resolution, and a control system that brings displays, projectors and the rest of the AV equipment into one interface. Combined control from a touch panel or tablet removes the need to operate each device separately.

Why Choose Audico Systems?

The solution is chosen by the space, not by the brand

LCD, OLED, projection and LED each suit different rooms and different needs. Audico is not tied to a single manufacturer, so the display technology and brand are always chosen to match the project's requirements, not a fixed product range.

Brightness, distance and resolution are calculated together, not guessed

A wrongly sized projection system shows up as a dim image in a bright room, or an oversized investment in a small one. Audico calculates projector brightness, distance and resolution together, matched to the room's lighting and how it is used.

AVaaS keeps the video solution running after installation

Audico offers video solutions as AV as a Service (AVaaS): remote monitoring, proactive maintenance and upkeep. A projector's light source wearing down or a signal fault, for example, is caught before it is visible to the audience.

Prime solutions for complex spaces

A curved wall, an unusual ceiling height or a one-of-a-kind use case does not mean a compromise. Audico designs the video solution on the room's own terms: combining several projectors where needed, customising the installation, or choosing an unconventional display solution. The result works as one, whatever shape the room takes.

Working video visibility is what makes a space usable

One room, more than one use

A well-designed video display solution makes a space genuinely versatile. The same meeting room or auditorium works as a hybrid meeting space, a presentation venue and, when needed, an event stage, without technical compromises.

The AV system fits into your IT infrastructure

An AV system integrated with IT infrastructure simplifies management and removes the need for separate cabling and maintenance systems. The same IT department can manage the AV network as part of the wider network infrastructure, instead of requiring separate specialist skills.

Sizing it right extends the system's life

Room-specific design, the right connection standards and a proven installation method mean the system runs reliably for years, without premature replacement costs.

The Loop - Science Village Hall

In the heart of the Science Village research cluster in Lund, a new meeting place has emerged – Science Village Hall in The Loop. Unlike many traditional concert halls with a focus on classical music and acoustic perfection, the requirement here was for a venue that could accommodate everything from scientific conferences to club concerts and symphony orchestras.
