IBC 2025 highlighted IP solutions, artificial intelligence and sustainability

IBC brings industry professionals together! This autumn Amsterdam once again hosted international broadcast and AV professionals at the IBC conference. The four-day event brought together more than 1,300 exhibitors and around 44,000 visitors to explore the latest industry developments, network and exchange ideas.

Connecting product development with customer needs

One of IBC’s strengths is its wide-ranging offering of software and technology for content production, distribution and presentation. The event provides a unique opportunity to meet end users, compare different manufacturers and engage directly with their development experts.
From a sales and integrator perspective, these discussions are invaluable in bridging the gap between end user requirements and manufacturers’ development work, resulting in solutions that truly work in practice.

IP and AI on the rise

This year’s trends clearly included the further expansion of IP-based solutions and the advancement of artificial intelligence. Improved camera tracking features and optimized software workflows are bringing more automation and efficiency to content production.

Sustainability shaping technology development

Sustainable solutions also played a key role. Manufacturers are increasingly focusing on reduced power consumption, energy management, monitoring and reporting.
