Audico Systems upgrades the Vasa Museum and signs long-term service agreement

Audico Systems has carried out a technical upgrade of the Vasa Museum's large auditorium in Stockholm, focusing on providing a top-class sound and visual experience — while preserving the museum's cultural and historical environment with the utmost respect.

At the heart of the installation is a new surround sound system from Genelec, specially designed to suit the acoustic conditions of the hall and the museum's requirements for sound quality and reliability.

The sound installation is complemented by a modern media player from Pixera, connected to the museum's existing projector system and linked via the DANTE digital audio transmission standard — a technical choice that ensures high performance for film screenings and multimedia presentations.

To ensure stable operation, Audico Systems has signed a long-term service agreement with the Vasa Museum, which includes preventive maintenance, technical supervision and quick support when needed. All service is carried out in close dialogue with the museum's own technicians, ensuring that the installation work is carried out with respect for the museum's sensitive cultural and historical environment.

Audico Systems' solution combines technical innovation with discreet aesthetics — the speakers are neatly integrated into the venue's environment without disrupting the visitor experience or detracting from the exhibition space's appearance. This project is a clear example of how modern AV technology can enhance the experience in cultural environments without compromising historical authenticity.
